Activities generate visual , auditory and kinesthetic learning in children. The students of kindergarten did an exciting and educational adventure as the little ones embark on a journey to create and learn in artistic way.
The students of class nursery performed an activity ‘CARVE YOUR GARDEN’. This activity is designed to inspire young minds, encourage minds, encourage artistic expression, and foster a love for nature in a fun and interactive way. During this activity, the little ones had the opportunity to carve their own gardens in boundless imagination. They coloured the flowers and trees and planted them on the virtual garden. At the end of the activity, each child had a unique and vibrant virtual garden to take home and showcase. This helped to foster imaginative thinking, fine motor skills, and storytelling abilities. It allowed children to explore their creativity while cultivating an appreciation for the beauty of nature.
The students of class L.K.G performed an activity ‘SINK AND FLOAT’. This science activity allows children to explore the concept of sink and float. In this activity we took a bowl of water and some objects like a ball , sharpener , eraser and some toys. The children were made to understand that the lighter objects floated and the heavier objects sank in the bowl of water. The children were asked questions like whether the objects sank or floated . They wholeheartedly answered to the asked questions.The children grasped the concept well. This was a very informative and empirical activity for children. They enjoyed and learned a lot. This activity not only enhanced mental ability but also raised the interrogative power of the children .
The students of class U.K.G performed an activity to make ‘WALL CLOCK’. In this activity the students embarked a creative journey to make their very own wall clock. This hand on experience combines artistry and functionality, allowing the children to design a unique timepiece that complements their personal routine and enhances the aesthetics of their living space. The children used stickers on the wall clock in order to know their routine and practice that effectively. This reinforced their knowledge of numbers and counting and an understanding of time in a fun and engaging way. By the end of the activity, each child proudly took home their personalized wall clock.
The students enjoyed a lot while performing the activities. Proper precautions were taken during the activity, such as using child friendly art supplies and ensuring proper supervision for the child’s well being.
